The Garden Book
The calendar runs your lawn. This runs everything planted around it.
$295 — one firm price.
For $295, we add a complete flower and garden-bed program to your lawn calendar — built from the exact species growing in your own beds. You walk us through what's planted (a short intake and a set of photos — the roses, the magnolia, the ligustrum, whatever you have), and we build a month-by-month care plan for those plants and no others: feeding, pruning, and care timing for each species; pest and disease watch windows keyed to your property; planting and transplant windows — all on the same trigger-based timing as the lawn program, not generic dates.
- Bed by bed, species by species — your plants, not a template
- Built from your intake and photos; no site visit needed
- Delivered as three PDFs: the full book in color for easy reading, the full book in black and white for easy printing, and a condensed calendar-only edition in black and white
- One revision pass included · 7–10 days from completed intake
$295 is all-in. The price covers this integrated plan, The Lawn Book, and The Garage Sheet — all three products. You don't pay separately for anything.
Secure checkout through Stripe — pay by card or bank (ACH). One flat price. After checkout we email the short intake (photos + your species list) and deliver your calendar and Garage Sheet.
How it works
Not made for your neighborhood. Made for your home.
You pay the $295. One firm price, once — no subscription, nothing to renew. And it's all-in: the plan, The Lawn Book, and The Garage Sheet.
You show us your beds. Upload pictures and tell us what species you have — every rose, shrub, and tree we're planning for.
You get one integrated calendar. Lawn and beds in a single month-by-month plan: pesticide and fungicide timing, pruning, deadheading, fertilization, and mulch schedules — for your exact plants.

Owners' consults
When something's wrong anyway
The books keep a lawn and garden on their program — maintenance and prevention, handled. But gardens still surprise you: a shrub yellowing for no reason the calendar covers, white crust on the stems, a bed that stopped blooming. For that, owners can buy a consult.
Lawn consults are available to every owner of a Lawn Counsel lawn calendar — The Highlands edition or the Kingwood edition. Flower & garden consults are reserved for owners of this package — you have to own the base book first, because a consult is answered in the context of your own plan: your beds, your species, your soil. That's what makes the answer worth having.
How it works: email photos and a description of the one issue to [email protected], and a written plan comes back — what it is, why it's happening, what to do, what not to do, and when to judge the result — within 24 hours, Monday through Saturday. If we miss that window, the consult is free.
Consults are sold singly or in a ten-pack that never expires — and they are sold only to owners: the prices and purchase links arrive with your book. What we can tell you here is the value: a specific issue, a specific plan, within a day — answered against your own beds and soil, not a search engine's average garden.
One issue per consult; follow-up questions on the same issue ride free in the same thread. Advice only — if a photo shows something that needs hands on site today (a hazard tree, a gas line), the plan will say so plainly, and that still counts as your consult answered.
